We’re huge admirers of Miles de Lange’s style, and his natural flair for interiors.
Based in London, Miles de Lange is a furniture, decorative arts and fabric agent, representing a string of UK and global brands. His lineup includes the eponymous Alexander Lamont, whose collection is globally celebrated for its use of age-old techniques and materials. Shagreen, parchment, eggshell and straw marquetry are all employed to great effect.
To coincide with the grand opening of the new Alexander Lamont + MILES showroom in London’s Design Centre Chelsea Harbour this month, we’ve been given access to Miles’ stunning apartment, that he shares with his interior designer partner Timothy Mather. We thought we’d do the smart thing and show you how to recreate this eclectic look right here in South Africa – with a few of Miles’ covetable atelier items thrown in for good measure.
